A division of the American Family Association says a new show set to debut on TV Land mocks Christianity, insults pastors, and should never make it on the air.

The supposed comedy "Impastor"is set to air on the cable network in mid-July 15 in the late evening hours. The main character of the show, according to the network's website, is "a slacker on the run from a loan shark" who steals a man's identity and ends up posing as a homosexual pastor in a small town.

"'Impastor' is mocking not only Christianity but it portrays pastors in such a negative light," says Monica Cole, director of OneMillionMoms.com. "To have a program that combines our faith in a vile comedy completely crosses the line."

Cole, MonicaCole appeals for Christians to voice their disapproval.

"OneMillionMoms is encouraging supporters to take action by going to our website and contacting Viacom, which is the parent company of TV Land, urging that the show be canceled and not air at all," she reports. "We are warning TV Land that if the show does air, then we will contact sponsors aggressively."

Cole argues that TV Land is not currently ridiculing any other religion currently and wouldn't dream of mocking Mohammed or Muslims.
