Fox-hating Dems, not a former president, coming after media
A media watchdog says it is worrisome but enlightening to witness prominent Democrats reveal themselves as authoritarian figures after they warned about Donald Trump for four years.
Tom Brejcha, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Society, says the case for David Daleiden, the undercover investigator who made undercover recordings of the Planned Parenthood abortionists in California and elsewhere, is "almost a carbon copy."
Brejcha tells One News Now they have "lowered the boom on David with civil cases and criminal cases that are almost parallel."
"Except they are worse than what happened against Joe Scheidler," Brejcha continues. "He's facing nine felony charges in criminal court going to a jury next summer and two big civil cases in San Francisco -- not a great place to be defending a pro-life case."
The Thomas More Society president says fighting all kinds of litigious attacks is the reminiscent of what Scheidler endured.
"The Department of Justice under the George H.W. Bush administration argued against us in the U.S. Supreme Court," details Brejcha. "That surprises a lot of people. We were an oppressed minority to say the least back then. Joe Scheidler stood up to it all, and with God's grace, he ultimately prevailed. And we were very fortunate to have had the help we did."
Joe Scheidler passed away on January 18 at the age of 93.
