NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo COVIDA Judeo-Christian law firm has filed a lawsuit challenging what it calls the dictatorship of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The American Freedom Law Center's (AFLC) civil rights lawsuit challenges the Democrat governor's executive order 205 requiring all persons who travel to New York from certain "restricted" states to quarantine for 14 days. A violation of the order could result in a $10,000 fine.

Robert Muise, co-founder and senior counsel at AFLC, says his firm filed the suit on behalf of Cynthia Page, who had to cancel her travel plans to New York because of the governor's "onerous" order.

"Anyone who is traveling into the state of New York from one of these designated restricted states, which the majority of them are interestingly enough red states, they have to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in New York," Muise explains. "He also put in place a snitch line so that people could call and report individuals who might be violating this latest restriction."

As for Page, Muise says she is perfectly healthy.

Muise, Robert (AFLC)"[She] has no symptoms of COVID-19, has never been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, yet she's subject to these onerous restrictions," he says. "Meanwhile, if you live in New Jersey and you happen to have COVID-19, you can travel in and out, back and forth, across the entire state of New York with impunity."

But as he points out, the Constitution includes protection for the right of interstate travel.

"New York cannot place burdens or penalties upon someone who wants to travel through that state within our United States," Muise asserts.

AFLC's lawsuit seeks a declaration that the travel restriction is unconstitutional and an order enjoining its enforcement.
