judge banging gavelA Texas boy's court battle could have an impact on other transgender kids around the country.

Texas couple Jeffrey Younger and Anne Georgulas are divorced, and the ex-wife sued because her former husband refuses castration and medication for their seven-year old son, James, to force him to become a girl. She sued and the father has been told he is guilty of child abuse for not paying for it.

Staver

Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, tells OneNewsNow that family courts are the new playground to force LGBT beliefs on children in divorce cases.

“And if the one who has custody of the child refuses to comply,” he says, “they're alleging child abuse and mental depravation, and physical harm, by not giving them these frankly harmful, disastrous medicines and surgical intervention.”

Younger has an October court date for a jury to decide whether his son will be raised as a boy because, if not, he could lose custody rights to the boy and the mother will be free to have him the medical treatment.
