Constitutionalist on high court is liberals' 'Armageddon'

There is a reason Democrats are apoplectic over the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy, says a constitutional attorney: their dream of a Marxist utopia is growing dimmer.
When Kennedy (pictured below) announced his retirement last week, which came at the end of the court's term, politicians and the left-wing media declared that the Apocalypse had descended upon the United States.
"We're looking at destruction of the Constitution of the United States, as far as I can tell," U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris declared on MSNBC.
"If you're not a straight, white male in America," a black panelist warned on the same news network, "right now you are probably freaking out."
Over on CNN, legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin predicted that Roe v. Wade is "doomed" while use of the death penalty will increase.
The reason the Left is melting down, says Christian Civil Rights Watch attorney Matt Barber, is because it knows a huge political event is unfolding that could create a "sea change" in public policy for decades to come.
"This is the single, biggest political event to come down the pike in decades," he tells OneNewsNow, "with the opportunity here for President Trump to put another strict constructionist, or a constitutionalist, on the high court."
The 100-seat U.S. Senate is split almost evenly between Democrats and Republicans: GOP lawmakers occupy 51 seats, enough to break a tie vote if liberal senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski support the nominee.
Trump is also wooing red-state Democrats and met with several of them at the White House last week.
A full day after Kennedy's announcement last week, Gary Bauer used his "End of Day" commentary to describe a "mass panic" among the Far Left, noting the despair at a Democratic National Committee meeting when news broke about Kennedy stepping down.
A reporter was present when Democrats audibly reacted to the news and Bauer called their response "wailing and gnashing of teeth" in the room.
Barber tells OneNewsNow that liberals are recognizing their "hard-fought" victories in the federal courts – the scene of their biggest victories in recent years – could be slipping away from them.
"And that's the only outlet they have in order to affect cultural Marxist change in this country," he says, "and try to reinvent an America in their own secular humanist self-image."

This is not normal
Shapiro
If you ask the media, Joe Biden is utterly boring, nondescript, barely worthy of coverage. His administration, too, is paradigmatically normal. Well, Joe may very well be a relatively normal guy – but none of what he's doing is normal. And since the media tells us our new president is "normal," his radical agenda is getting a pass.
