A senior fellow of legal studies who is devoted to promoting the dignity of the human person says sex education is not what it used to be.
A teens-only sex education class will again be held at the public library in Lexington Park, Maryland. It is the second go-round for the course, which bars parents from attending and is taught by a lesbian pole dancer.
Cathy Ruse of the Family Research Council tells OneNewsNow the course has also hosted drag queen story hours for toddlers.
"Drag queen story hours are very, very bad, but at least the parents are in the room," she comments. "With this sex-ed class for teens, parents are not even allowed in, according to the organizers, so there's a deliberate effort to separate children from their parents."
Ruse adds that the sex-ed classes are also designed to separate Christian teens from what the Bible teaches, and it does so with sessions that are graphic and horrible.
"Sensible people understand how wrong that is to introduce kids to graphic sex elements, but it's really sexual nihilism that is being taught," she asserts. "It's a despairing psychology, and it produces despair on the part of kids."
In the past, sex education was about human development and sexual reproduction, but now Ruse says it is first and foremost about LGBT advocacy fand dangerous transgender ideology. The idea is that if the LGBTQ movement can capture people when they are young, then they will have them for life.
