cemetery of the innocents white crossesAn investigation continues into yet another incident where a pro-abortion student wrecked a pro-life display on a college campus.

A student at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, Washington, began removing a display of crosses put up by members of Students for Life of America. SFLA spokesman Matt Lamb says the perpetrator had a chance to engage in some worthwhile dialogue, but he chose instead to commit vandalism.

"If he had just asked us what we were there about, or [if] he wanted to challenge our beliefs, everyone there would have respectfully answered his questions," Lamb asserts. "He didn't take that opportunity to learn from us."

When SFLA asked the vandal why he was removing the crosses, he only replied, "...because I disagree with the message."

Lamb says such incidents are increasing on campuses nationwide.

"I would say this year alone we've probably had at least 15 incidents of crosses being torn down and then at least another 25 or 30 of flyers for pro-life speakers or pro-life groups being taken down," he tells OneNewsNow.

A student conduct officer is investigating the Whatcom Community College incident, which could end in fining the vandal or requiring him to go through an apology or reconciliation process.
