Mother's Day signAt least two schools in Australia have dropped recognition of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and embraced a "non-binary world."

The Daily Wire reports Brunswick East Primary School in Melbourne has replaced both days with what it is calling "acknowledgement days."

Brunswick principal Janet Di Pilla says she wants to make these occasions as inclusive as possible.

Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute says it is preposterous for a school official to denounce what they call the “binary world” we live in.

“That is such a manifestly stupid statement,” she says. “The thought that this would come out of the mouth of an educator is astonishing."

Not every Aussie is "woke" to this far-left progression, however: Australian voters provided a surprise upset in national elections last week, defeating the far-left Labor Party and handing an unexpected victory to conservatives.

Daily Wire also reports the Drummoyne Childcare Centre is replacing Mother's Day and Father's Day with "Family and Friends Day."

According to Higgins, children are not gullible and know that it's normal to have a mother and a father.

"And even children who are raised in homosexual homes, many of those children long for the parent of the gender they're missing," she says.
