college campus night sceneDespite severe financial and student enrollment problems, Evergreen State College in Washington state has turned its focus to banning certain politically incorrect words on campus that do not jive with its ultra-leftist campus politics.

Even though the school faces a real possibility of having to close its doors, Breitbart reports that the faculty at Evergreen have voted to ban the word "covenant," which allegedly has ties to "cultural genocide."

Richard Holt, who serves on the National Advisory Board of Project 21 – a conservative, black leadership group – sees nothing productive about Evergreen State College’s efforts to cater to its liberal base by fussing with its preferred lexicon.

"The idea that they would ban the word 'covenant' … it's just a word,” Holt argued. “Words only have the meanings that we give them. People also have a covenant with God. Should we also burn down churches because that sounds to me like what they're advocating?"

The faculty at Evergreen State argues that "covenant" represents the cultural genocide of Native Nations.

Holt believes that if Evergreen were located in a "red state," the school would have been shut down by now.

"This is a state where this kind of behavior is kind of normal,” the conservative leader explained. “I mean, this is normal for Washington State because it's a 'blue state,' that supports this kind of behavior. They're more likely to be rewarded than punished."

For their annual Day of Absence last year, students at the publicly funded school called for white people to leave the campus, which has resulted in a catastrophic drop in enrollment, according to Fox News.
