Trump: Schumer would have fought for his party's candidate; McConnell didn't
Donald Trump thinks it's time for Senator Mitch McConnell to be removed from GOP leadership and replaced with someone who can reinvigorate the party.
Harvard University campus office "BGLTQ Student Life" is distributing the guides to students to "fight transphobia" on campus, Campus Reform reports.
The "guide" states in part:
Transphobic misinformation is a form of systemic violence. Fixed binaries and biological essentialism, manifest in gendered language, misgendering someone, and the policing of trans bodies, threaten the lives of trans people.
"This is so counter to reality, so counter to the reality of who we are as embodied human beings, that it can't possible succeed," observes Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council.
"But, of course," he adds, "I've thought that about other things that took place as well."
Advocates for the "gender identity" movement contend that sex is merely a person's "assigned" role at birth while gender is more of personal feelings.
Human Rights Campaign, the pro-homosexual lobbying group, describes gender identity as a person's "innermost concept of self as male, female, a blend of both or neither."
So just how many genders are there?
The media reported in 2014 that Facebook is listing 58 gender options and three pronouns – "him," "her," or "their" – while dating app Tinder announced 37 options late last year, Newsweek announced at the time. It wasn't clear from the story if Tinder was determining pronouns, too.
There is a goal to Harvard's gender guide, says Sprigg.
"To basically say that your viewpoint that there are two sexes, and that everybody is born either male or female, is not to be tolerated," he says.
