When a Las Vegas mom saw the radical sexual education agenda her school district and legislature were trying to implement, she saw a reason to take a stand and fight back.
Erin Phillips became concerned when she realized the school board members and state legislators in her area were pushing to implement a radical sexual education agenda into the public schools. She decided if she did not do something, nobody probably would. As a result, Power2Parent was formed.
"I contacted some friends of mine who are also involved with testifying against AB230, and I knew that they were concerned with sex education issues and were involved with some like legislation issues in Nevada," Phillips accounts. "And it was me and three other ladies who basically started the group."
Power2Parent is concerned not only about radical sex-ed materials, but also with parental rights in general, and group's founder goes on to tell OneNewsNow, "We just recently made a video and held a press conference to release our video." It highlights some of the parental rights issues regarding sex education and "parental rights issues in general."
