As supporters say goodbye to Donald Trump, it's worth remembering he is not the only Trump who has departed the White House.
How much did the Left hate Donald Trump? For the first time in U.S. history, we had a literal, actual supermodel as First Lady in Melania Trump but, because of her husband, she was hated, too, and that meant she was never featured on the coveted cover of a fashion magazine.
First Ladies have traditionally been followed in some circles for their fashion trends but that, quite ironically did not happen to a model who lives and breathes fashion and elegance, says American Family Radio talk show host Sandy Rios.
“Melania Trump has not only been a great example of patriotism, love of country, love of her husband in the middle of terribly adverse circumstances,” says Rios, “but also, I think, reflecting a deep respect for God.”
Rios recalls when Melania recited The Lord’s Prayer at a Florida political rally in 2017, speaking in her thick Eastern European accent that Fox News reported was ridiculed by the so-called tolerant Left.
Rios says the now-former first lady grew in her role and had a “glow” about her despite the hateful media and despicable Democrats.
“She has an accent because English is not her first language. It's her fifth,” Rios points out.
"Being your first lady was my greatest honor," she said Wednesday morning at Joint Base Andrews. "Thank you for your love and support. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all, God bless your families, and God bless this beautiful nation."
