After decades of LGBT pandering, lobbying, bullying, and extorting, the president of a non-partisan educational group dedicated to exposing the homosexual-bisexual-transgender activist agendas says America has lost her ability to blush.
HBO is streaming a documentary called "Transhood" that follows four kids who want to change their gender over a five-year period. One featured child is Phoenix, who is only four years old when the filming starts.
The Federalist's Chad Felix Green writes that "while through the lens of leftist LGBT advocacy this might sound empowering, from a rational point of view, it is far from a positive development."
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) agrees, saying a four-year-old boy does not decide on his own that he wants to be a she. The little boy's case is no different from the others in that the parents are the ones who pushed their kids into the confusion.
"This is child abuse, but it's really abuse on a collective level that's unbelievable," LaBarbera asserts. "From the parents to the medical community to the media to academia to the corporate world -- everybody is now promoting this transgender craze."
He laments that American culture has lost its ability to blush.
"It's typical of the appalling state to which America has fallen, in which deviance is glorified, even applied to children being guided into it, and they're also being guided into deviance the medical community," the AFTAH president submits.
In response to the documentary, several organizations are calling for a boycott of HBO. And while LaBarbera agrees that would be a good moral choice for families, he does not expect it to move the needle at HBO headquarters.
"These are networks that take great pride in their promotion of all things gay, bisexual, transgender, queer as they call it," he notes. "I think it's going to take almost new strategies and new media to confront this."
