Gym closures indicative of a bigger, 'destructive' agenda

A conservative activist in California is suggesting that those who decide which businesses can and cannot stay open during the pandemic have a not-so-hidden agenda: to destroy capitalism.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) made news recently when a security camera caught her mask-less while visiting a hair salon in San Francisco that, in accordance with a local COVID mandate, was closed to indoor services. Less than a week later, a local paper reported that gyms in police stations and other government buildings have remained open, while private gyms have been shut down for months – many on the verge of fiscal ruin.
Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com says he has come to expect this from The City's leadership. "It's the height of hypocrisy," he tells OneNewsNow. "This is the 'Do what I say, not what I do' agenda of the corrupt Democrat [sic] politicians."
The Mission Local reports the gym at the Public Safety building provided a workout for 468 government employees in the month of May alone. Also open for use, according to that report, were gyms in the Hall of Justice and Medical Examiner's office, and informal gyms or weight rooms at police stations and firehouses throughout the city.
Locals are furious, says Thomasson. "How many small businesses are too many small businesses to be destroyed?" he asks. "Apparently, there's no limit for the Democrat rulers who say, 'Well, let's just make this lockdown continuous.'"
He argues that the business lockdowns stopped being about COVID long ago.
"This is revealing to all of us that the unscientific, unconstitutional, destructive, dehumanizing lockdown is not about preventing preventable deaths, but [instead] is about destroying capitalism, because this is a great opportunity to usher in the New World Order," says the pro-family activist.
The Golden State has been especially rigid with its closures of churches, with a strict attendance limit and a ban on singing. Some churches are disregarding the government restrictions, among them John MacArthur's Grace Community Church in Southern California. In that particular case, it has landed MacArthur's church in court.
