global warming 1Proponents of overpopulation have been proven wrong, and it's not too late to reverse the damage they've done.

Maintaining that the sky is falling because of "overpopulation," billionaires have helped fund organizations that promote contraception and abortion for years. But as Steve Mosher of the Population Research Institute (PRI) tells OneNewsNow, the problem is actually that too few people are on the planet.

"Now we have even a study published in The Lancet, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation," Mosher relays. "Bill Gates, remember, has been a big overpopulation bomb for a long time, now saying that there's new evidence that global depopulation is on the way, which it certainly is."

But those who profit from overpopulation claims do not want to give up on the issue. Mosher says they are in a hole, and they want to keep digging.

"Now we know that half of all nations right now are below the replacement rate of 2.1 children per woman," he reports. "We predicted 25 years ago at PRI that most nations at the end of industrialization, that the post-modern society would be averaging about 1.2, 1.3 children per woman."

Though that is creating economic havoc on those nations, Mosher says things can be turned around if young people can be shown the value of marriage and by making it possible for them to marry without the economic burdens that deter them from having more than one child.
