Trail Life USA emblemAfter a successful event last month, Trail Life USA is gearing up for another homebound family event.

About a month ago, the boys' organization conducted a National Backyard Campout that was highly successful in bringing families together outside for a fresh and fun event at home. So the Christian organization is encouraging families to set up a tent again this Saturday. This time, Trail Life USA CEO Mark Hancock says special entertainment has been added.

"We're showing The Pilgrim's Progress … that John Bunyon classic. We're going to livestream that for free for families that register for the backyard movie," Hancock details. "There'll be a pre-show that features David Benham of the Benham Brothers. He's our host for that night, and then also a special visit by Keith and Kristyn Getty."

The Gettys are writers of Christian songs like "In Christ Alone."

Hancock stresses that one does not have to be Christian or part of Trail Life USA to register for the event or view the movie.

"We did something like this last month, and we had over 6,000 families in addition to our 30,000 Trail Life members camp in their backyard," Hancock reports. "So this Saturday night we're adding the backyard movie to the campout, and already we've surpassed the numbers of families that registered for last month."

Hancock says this is a perfect opportunity for fun and adventure for the entire family and a chance to make memories that will last a lifetime.

The movie will be shown at 8:45 p.m. in every time zone.
