Drag queen at NY library 1Allowing homosexual men with a dress-up fetish to read to innocent children has drawn protests from parents and pastors, and an unlikely source is speaking out against the “story hour” phenomenon that liberal parents have embraced.

“Would you want a stripper or a porn star to influence your child?” a drag queen known as Kitty Demure asks in a YouTube video. “It makes no sense at all.”

OneNewsNow has reported frequently on the “drag queen story hour” controversy, and the cultural and legal battle it has created in communities where taxpayer-funded libraries host events that draw “tolerant” parents, disapproving protesters, and convicted child predators dressed in drag.

Critics of the “story hour” events are routinely denounced as “intolerant” and “homophobic,” while parents who want to appear tolerant bring their unsuspecting children to view men in tight dresses, wigs and heavy make-up who read books that predictably indoctrinate children with a pro-LGBT message.

Drag queen with hornsWith that background working against him, Demure, whose real name is unknown, didn’t hold back in the Jan. 20 video in which he scolded mothers in particular for wanting to be “woke” and “cool,” and prove they are not a “homophobe,” by bringing innocent children to the book readings.

“You can raise your child to be just a normal, regular, everyday child without including them in gay, sexual things,” he said, which is an eye-opening warning considering the book readings are advertised as fun events with men playing "dress up."

Demure’s three-minute video has been noticed by conservative media outlets such as The Blaze, which pointed out that book-reading drag queens have been documented rolling on the floor with children and showing them how to “twerk” at what was supposed to be a book reading. A skirt-wearing drag queen reading at a Minnesota even flashed children last fall, a sickening photo snapped by a parent showed.

Drag queen at NY library 2Demure also pulled back the curtain on the homosexual community, too: There is no reason, he said, to normalize the drag queen fetish or make it seem attractive to innocent children.

“There is a lot of filth that goes on – a lot of sexual stuff that goes on,” he said of adult drag queen shows. “And backstage there’s a lot of nudity, sex, and drugs, okay? So I don’t think that this is an avenue you would want your child to explore.”

“We've already had a reputation for being pedophiles and being perverts and deviants,” he states. “We don't need you to bring your children around, so you keep your kids at home or take them to Disneyland or take them to Chuck E. Cheese…”

Before posting the "story hour" video, Demure already drew critics on the Left for posting a “walk away” video in 2018 about no longer identifying as a Democrat.
