Rep. Ilhan OmarA messianic Jewish leader is questioning why the American Israel Public Affairs Committee continues to invite Democrats to its annual conference.

AIPAC got its annual event rolling on Sunday but missing from the stage were a number of Democratic presidential candidates including Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Beto O' Rourke and Elizabeth Warren, who all gave various reasons for bowing out.

AIPAC has been in the news in recent weeks after it was criticized by Islamic Rep. Ilhan Omar (pictured above) over its influence in U.S. politics, and President Donald Trump has described Democrats as anti-Israel and anti-Semitic.

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)Jan Markell, founder and president of Olive Tree Ministries, says the “true colors” of the far-left Democrats are starting to show.

“Much of the Democrat Party has embraced some form of anti-Semitic sentiment,” she claims. “There was a time when both parties were strong supporters of Israel. This is years ago now.”

Markell says anti-Semitism within the Democratic Party can be traced to so-called “progressives” in the Obama administration and she now advises that Jews need to “wake up” and leave the party.

Regarding the leaders of AIPAC, Markell says she finds it “tragic” that they continue to reach out to Democrats and look the other way at their views.
