The mother of a transgender child is dropping her call for a criminal investigation that was launched on a British columnist who she accused of “misgendering” her child because she described him by the gender her so-called “daughter” does not identify as.
Earlier this week, it was publicly announced that police were conducting a criminal probe on the Catholic journalist for referring to the gender-confused child by the correct – but undesired – pronoun.
“Caroline Farrow was contacted by authorities after making an appearance on Good Morning Britain, in which she engaged in a debate with a transgender activist, Susie Green, who has a trans child,” Faithwire reported Tuesday. “Following this appearance, which took place last September, Farrow allegedly referred to Green’s daughter, Jackie, by the wrong pronoun.”
When the transgender activist mother – who runs the Mermaids transgender lobby group that promotes medical treatment to transform transgender children to the unnatural sex – moved forward to criminally charge Farrow for referring to her son as a male (posing as a female). Soon afterward, the Catholic journalist took to social media to let the world know about the absurd investigation being launched against her.
“Had a message from Guildford Police tonight about my tweets following an appearance on @GMB with Susie Green and Piers Morgan,” Farrow tweeted Monday. “Susie Green has reported me for misgendering her daughter.”
She argued that man cannot change the sex of a person to a gender different than the one God created him or her as, as she indicated in her tweet soon afterward.
“I have pointed out to the police that I am a Catholic journalist/commentator, and it is my religious belief that a person cannot change sex,” Farrow’s following tweet reads. “That we are in the middle of a national conversation about what it means to be male and what it means to be female.”
Farrow was candid about the pro-transgender medical treatment Green is having administered to her son – as she tries to transition him to a girl.
"Susie Green may feel that giving her son off-label illegal medication aged 11 and drastic surgery was the path of least harm in her circumstances, but she shouldn't project and impose it on other vulnerable kids as best practice," Farrow wrote in another tweet, before making yet another post. "I think it's time everyone called out Susie Green and Mermaids' policy out for what it is – child abuse."
What did I do?
Farrow appeared confused about exactly what it was that she did that was considered “offensive” enough to warrant a criminal investigation.
"I may have said something about her taking her son abroad for surgery – which is true – … She did,” Farrow told The Christian Post (CP) Tuesday. “But, I guess she is baulking about him being called a son. But at what point did he become a daughter? Because, surely, at the point she took him to be castrated, he was a boy."
She was supposedly breaking a pro-LGBT policy enforced by British police.
“Her tweets – which were from October 2018 and shared on the Mermaids’ website – said that Green was in violation of the Samaritan policy about how suicide is discussed in the media, and asserted that what she did do [to] her male child – taking him overseas to have his penis inverted and his testicles surgically removed – was illegal, and that she had sterilized and mutilated him,” CP’s Brandon Showalter pointed out.
But the LGBT activist soon changed her mind about going after Farrow – in order to draw less attention to her strong argument on the issue, as within days, Green informed the BBC that she is dropping her complaint.
“Every day, my daughter is misgendered online … this was a journalist who had a public platform who used that to send very deliberately malicious nasty messages,” Green told BBC. “It’s not just the misgendering – it’s actually the context that she puts it into – and that she calls me a child abuser.”
The pro-LGBT mom went on to defend her initial action against Farrow.
“[My complaint to police was the] appropriate course of action, [but I then changed my mind so that Farrow no longer will] have a platform,” Green explained.
Confusing – and mutilating – kids
Green has contributed to her son’s confusion over his sex.
“Her son, Jackie, was born male and known at first as Jack, [b]ut he began puberty blockers at 13 and went to Thailand at the age of 16 for surgery – a procedure that now is illegal in the U.K. for those under 18,” WND informed. “The social media commentary site, Twitchy, wrote Farrow was being interviewed ‘under caution.’”
After the investigation was launched, Farrow was infuriated by the transgender activists’ move to criminalize her.
“I can’t sleep I am so furious,” Farrow expressed, as noted in WND’s report. “According to the police, I ‘misgendered,’ which implies that I used the wrong pronouns/nouns – and this potentially constitutions a criminal offense. Let that sink in.”
Piers Morgan – the commentator who interviewed Farrow – tweeted, “WHAT?????” on Twitter … in amazement after hearing about the criminal claim against her.
The journalist stressed what a big deal gender pronouns have become to police, and noted how disgusted she was that law enforcement virtually ignored the threats she has received because she is on the wrong – politically incorrect – side of the debate.
“Oh, and if I don’t go for an interview about some tweets that allegedly misgendered, I will apparently be arrested, which is nice,” Farrow mused. “Meanwhile a group of people have terrified and harassed my family, doxed my children, made violent and sexual threats, signed me up to porn accounts, did the same to my husband, threatened to visit here.”
With the police department’s politics, it appears that U.K. law enforcement officials are in the business of protecting those who align with its worldview on LGBT issues.
“[Police] appear unbothered by this onslaught of cyber abuse,” Faith Wire’s Will Maule noted.
