Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona recently awarded its Gold Award, the organization’s highest honor, to a teen who created a volunteer project on “reproductive health justice” --- a colorful term for abortion rights.

“Perhaps parents will now know the real Girl Scouts if they are paying attention to what's going on,” remarks Patti Garibay, a former Girl Scout leader who started American Heritage Girls , a faith-based, patriotic alternative.

The teen, Meghna Gopalan, told local media that she got interested in the issue during the Brett Kavanaugh hearing, and she thanked the far-left Women’s March for helping her with the project, LifeNews reported.

Garibay tells OneNewsNow the Girl Scouts has been attempting to hides its “true agenda” for more than two decades.

“And now they're celebrating the progressive agenda," she says, "and the victims of all of this, of course, the girl members themselves."

AHG remains a Christian-based organization that follows a pro-life message, and its members receive the Stars and Stripes award as the highest honor.
