pregnancy ultrasoundToday's society is becoming comparable to ancient times in some respects.

Though New York's new law permitting abortion until birth shocked the nation, seven other states have similar laws. Dr. Mike Chupp of the Christian Medical Association, an experienced OB/GYN in the DC area, says he cannot think of an instance where a pregnancy should purposefully be ended with a dead baby.

"Even if it's risky for a baby being premature, there's always the option of ending that pregnancy with a live birth and making every effort to save that life," Dr. Chupp asserts, adding that caesarian section should be the option, not abortion.

But Dr. Gene Rudd says things have changed.

Rudd

"What's going to happen when someone else doesn't want to facilitate or participate, or someone wants to have a peaceful protest out in front of an abortion clinic?" he poses. "They are breeching that fundamental right of that woman that is now defined as the New York law."

A pro-lifer could now be held accountable legally for violating the law.
