indoctrination (human brain)Mindfulness meditation is infiltrating schools and athletic teams with a type of thought control that the founder of a Christian organization for athletes believes is dangerous.

Steve McConkey of 4 Winds Christian Athletics says while more and more schools are shunning Christianity, they are replacing it with mindfulness meditation that is based on Eastern religions.

And he warns this trend is becoming widespread.

"It's throughout the United States in most schools in some way," McConkey says, "actual programs in schools where they're taking kids aside and allowing them to meditate for some time. And they have somebody designated as the 'peace person' in that school."

McConkey says one of the nation's leading proponents of mindfulness meditation is Dr. Richard Davidson of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who also happens to be a good friend of the Dalai Lama.

Some unthinking Christians are embracing this dangerous practice, which McConkey says can open the mind to demonic forces, so Christian parents should be on the lookout for "buzz words" such as mindful meditation.
