public library (Temple, TX)Residents of a Texas town are advancing their war against the homosexual movement's effect on the local library, and one Christian activist group is hoping to inspire other believers throughout the country.

OneNewsNow reported last November that an organization called Concerned Christian Citizens learned that Temple residents had found a shocking display in the Temple Library.

"They had a 'Celebrate Pride Month' display up," Concerned Christian Citizens spokesman Joe Goodson describes. "They had various messages for the children, had a hands-on book table that basically gave the message to our children that this is a positive lifestyle that they should be advocating for and celebrating."

That concerned many residents, including Christians, who know homosexual conduct is a sin and a proven unhealthy and dangerous lifestyle. So Goodson's activist group attended a meeting to let the library board know a good number of people did not approve of the display.

"From that point we have begun to really urge them not to do that again, and they have told us that they are rewriting or writing their policy about displays," he reports.

Leading up to the meeting tomorrow, Temple residents have been signing a petition to be presented to the board. Goodson is hoping for a solid response, though he expects the LGBT proponents will also be there vying for their own approach. With that in mind, Goodson's organization sees a good opportunity to show what residents of any town in America can do to fend off the LGBT agenda.
