The Boy Scouts of America is no longer just for boys, as the pro-LGBT organization announced on Monday that it will now accept girls pretending or identifying to be boys under the modern designation “transgender boys.”
Since it started hiring openly homosexual men years ago, the Boy Scouts of America has come under fire from many conservative and Christian organizations in recent years for endangering and detrimentally influencing boys by putting potential sexual predators in leaderships positions.
Betraying traditional values
Despite the criticism and condemnation, the iconic boys group that has been recognized and respected for more than a century refused to take heed of the many warnings about the potential dangers that admitting homosexual men to lead boys in the group could bring. Today, the boys’ group has moved its pro-LGBT policies one more step to the Left by admitting gender-confused girls who identify as boys.
Boy Scouts of America Communications Director Effie Delimarkos made the announcement this week that the Boy Scouts are not only for boys, but for anyone who considers themselves to be – or desires to become – a boy.
"Starting today, we will accept and register youth in the Cub and Boy Scout programs based on the gender identity indicated on the application," Delimarkos expressed in a public statement.
After abiding by the same policy for generations that has required members to be biological males, the Boy Scouts have now caved in to special interest groups pushing the homosexual agenda so that boys will now be forced to fellowship with girls in a group that was exclusively founded for boys.
“The Boy Scouts previously relied on policy that was restricted to the gender listed on the child's birth certificate,” Townhall reported.
‘Boy Scouts’ now a misnomer?
However, the century-old commonsense requirement has been thrown out the door after eight years of pro-LGBT legislation pushed through by the LGBT-friendly Obama administration.
Delimarkos announced that the Boy Scouts are now rejecting the traditional guidelines that characterized the organization as a bastion for boys aspiring to become upstanding citizens as young men.
"For more than 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America – along with schools, youth sports and other youth organizations – have ultimately deferred to the information on an individual's birth certificate to determine eligibility for our single-gender programs," the communications director continued.
With businesses, government buildings and even public schools being ordered by former President Barack Obama to provide transgenders with special privileges to be granted bathroom and locker room access of their choosing, more and more organizations across America are succumbing to pro-LGBT policies – rules that conservatives and those with biblical values argue put women and children unnecessarily at-risk.
Severing from the Judeo-Christian worldview that has often been used to train and instruct male youth from generation to generation, the Boy Scouts now contends that traditional values will no longer suffice for the organization to use as a guiding principle when it comes to human sexuality.
"However, that approach is no longer sufficient as communities and state laws are interpreting gender identity differently, and these laws vary widely from state to state," Delimarkos declared in his closing statement that made girls’ unprecedented inclusion into the Boy Scouts official.
