man wearing clerical collarThe head of a research and education organization dedicated to the defense of the Catholic Church against assaults from without as well as from within is calling out a group of bishops and priests for stepping out of line from church teachings.

Michael Hichborn, founder of the Lepanto Institute, reports that two U.S. bishops and several priests have signed onto a pro-LGBT campaign asking the public to accept men who feign to be women as women.

"The two bishops are Archbishop [John] Wester of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Bishop John Stowe of the Diocese of Lexington," Hichborn details. "It should be noted that both of these bishops are directly affiliated with the heretical Association of United States Catholic Priests called the AUSCP."

That organization joined the bishops and priests who signed a letter by the Human Rights Campaign, the group mostly responsible for the drive to legalize same-gender marriage in America.

"They are taking a formal stand with an organization, the Human Rights Campaign, that is directly inimical to Catholic teaching," Hichborn asserts. "This organization is consistently attacking the Catholic Church with regard to matters on human sexuality, most especially with regard to the nature of marriage."

The letter brings up the 44 transgender people who were reportedly killed in the U.S. last year. Meanwhile, the AUSCP continues to ignore abortion and the more than 2,500 Americans who are killed by it every day.
