hands on BibleReaching the young people of "Generation Z" is the goal of an apologetics conference taking place next month in North Carolina.

"In a generation that doesn't know family," says Dr. Alex McFarland, "they can be a part of the family of God."

McFarland says "Generation Z" is the group he hopes to reach through the Truth for a New Generation conference set for March 23-24 at Life Community Church in the greater Greensboro area.

McFarland says many from this young generation come from broken families and hence they have a hard time trusting anything or anyone. But there is hope.

"In a generation that doesn't really have a lot they can depend on," he tells OneNewsNow, "we want them to know that they can trust Jesus."

The theme is "Save the Nation," he says, "and we believe the only salvation for this nation is the Lord Jesus Christ."

More information on this upcoming conference can be found at www.truthforanewgeneration.com.
