A pro-Israel activist is calling on supporters of Israel to boycott a vacation-booking website in response to the company's decision to support the anti-Semitic BDS movement.
Airbnb has decided to discontinue the listings of vacation rentals in what it defines as "occupied territory" within the West Bank settlements.
Palestinian leaders had called for Airbnb to remove the Israeli settlement listings three years ago, saying in a letter to the company, "You are effectively promoting the illegal colonization of occupied land."
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, is calling on supporters of Israel to boycott Airbnb.

"This is outrageous," she submits. "This is another international business that has bought into the anti-Semitic BDS movement. And so we need to let them know -- especially those who rent, who are associated, are affiliated with Airbnb who have property that they're renting through Airbnb -- they need to pull their properties from Airbnb and choose alternative companies that provide the same service."
Cardoza-Moore points out that there are other well established businesses, such as VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owners), that can provide great accommodations as an alternative to Airbnb.
