When Target announced its policy allowing transgender people to use the bathroom and changing room of the gender in which they say they identify, American Family Association warned that sexual predators might take advantage of the policy.

On Thursday, AFA released an Action Alert listing 10 examples of "men abusing Target's dangerous policy."

"From day one, we said that men would abuse Target's policy and gain access to women's restrooms and changing areas - and this is exactly the case in these examples," says AFA's Walker Wildmon.

The list of examples includes a man wanted for taking photos inside a Target changing room, a man arrested for taking photos of a woman in a Target bathroom, and a transgender woman caught filming in a Target changing room.

"Anyone who signed this petition, that's not where your action stops," Wildmon adds. "If you could share this [list] with your family and friends, church members, coworkers, anyone who is interested and shares our values on this, it would be great if you can share the boycott petition [as well]."

As of Thursday, there were more than 1.4 million signatures on the Boycott Target petition that launched in late April.

The retailer has yet to respond to OneNewsNow's request for comment.
