GLSEN's 'phony' findings

A conservative pundit is questioning the validity of a survey routinely published by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network that shows homosexuals are relentlessly bullied and harassed in school.

Harvey, Linda (Mission: America)Linda Harvey of Mission: America says the "School Climate Survey" is unreliable, as GLSEN produces it in-house rather than using an outside, independent agency, and fails to classify or control the people taking the online survey.

"This survey is not valid," she asserts. "You can't use this survey to back up anything that school boards should be acting on, that state legislators should be acting on, but it is quoted that way and used that way all the time."

The Mission: America president suggests the survey is merely a vehicle for pushing the "gay" agenda.

"It's a propaganda tool to try to get their agenda into more schools, to try to use the issue of bullying, which everybody's concerned about, for their own end in promoting homosexuality to our kids," Harvey submits.

She contends it is up to parents to stop GLSEN's ongoing attempt to implement that agenda in public schools.
