Pastor Rick WarrenA veteran cultural analyst says Time has now joined Newsweek as a former news magazine that has decided to push a "radical agenda" and doesn't care who knows it.

Earlier this month, Newsweek published a cover story arguing that the Bible justifies same-sex marriage. Less than two weeks later, a senior writer for Time magazine accused president-elect Barack Obama and Rick Warren of being bigots who "oppose equality for gay people." In his article "The Problem for Gays with Rick Warren – and Obama," Time writer John Cloud compares Obama's defense of Rick Warren to former Georgia Senator Richard Russell Jr's defense of Jim Crow laws.

Bob Knight, former director of the Culture and Media Institute, says Cloud and other homosexual activists are hurting themselves with their angry reaction to Obama's choice of Rick Warren to pray at the Inauguration.

Robert Knight"They are comparing Warren to the leader of the Ku Klux Klan, to people who used rubber hoses on African-Americans," he contends. "What they're saying to America is, 'We are so aggressive about our agenda that anybody who bucks it, who questions it, shouldn't be allowed to speak in public, certainly not under government auspices. And we will do whatever we can to scream and holler whenever we're displeased.'"

Knight points out, with their anger directed at Rick Warren and Barack Obama, homosexual activists are showing America who the "real bullies" are and are revealing what their agenda is all about -- to silence people, especially Christians, who disagree with their notion that people are born homosexual, cannot leave the lifestyle, and therefore deserve special protections.
